Gerwyn Price defends his title

Gerwyn Price successfully defended his title and won the Grand Slam of Darts 2019. The “Iceman” is the new number three in darts and underlined his position with convincing performances.

He won the eagerly awaited new edition of last year’s final with 16:9 against Gary Anderson. A 16:12 in the semi-final against Michael van Gerwen followed and Peter Wright was almost swept off stage in the final with a 16:6 victory and a 108er average.

In this form the Welsh has risen to one of the favourites for the World Championship title.
