Interwetten German Darts Championship 2022

The Interwetten German Darts Championship is the PDC Europe`s oldest tournament. The first edition took place in Halle/Westphalia in 2007. At the beginning of the European Tour era the event moved to Berlin before Hildesheim became the permanent location in 2013. During this time, “Halle 39” has developed into a real iconic location and the darts calendar is unimaginable without it. This success story will be continued in 2022!

At the last edition of the event in 2020 the “African Warrior” Devon Petersen picked up his first PDC title to the delight of the crowd

The European Tour 2022 comprises thirteen events, which will be held in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Gibraltar.

Each event is donated with £140,000 (approx. EUR 160,000), with the prize money going into the European Order of Merit. The 32 best players in this ranking after the thirteen European Tour events qualify for the European Championship, which will take place at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund in 2022.
