Florian Hempel from Cologne enjoyed a dream day at the PDC European Q School 2021 and won a Tour Card for the first time in his short career.

The 30 year old German averaged 94+ over the course of his seven matches and defeated the likes of Lukas Wenig, Martin Schindler and John Michael on his way to victory.

In the final he steamrolled Luc Peters in the early stages and averaged 105 as he charged into a 4:0 lead before Peters could pull it back to 4:2.

But Hempel prevailed and secured his Tour Card in style, checking out 148 for the victory.
