Cazoo World Cup of Darts 2021

The World Cup of Darts is the PDC team world championship with a very special format.

Because in this event the players don’t play individually but in pairs to represent their home country. So it is not “Wright against van Gerwen” but “Scotland against the Netherlands”. A special treat are the pairs matches in which four players are on stage and which is unique in the tour calendar.

32 nations will fight for the title and a total of 350.000£ price money, among them the reigning champions Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton for Wales, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright for Scotland, Michael van Gerwen for the Netherlands and Team Germany – Gabriel Clemens and Max Hopp.

Currently, up to 500 fans can attend each session at the Sparkassen-Arena, where wearing an medical mask will be compulsory – except, of course, when spectators are seated. In order to keep the event as safe as possible, only those fans who are fully vaccinated, recuperated or tested will be allowed to attend the World Cup of Darts 2021. The negative Covid-19 test must be made on the day of the event.
