The Cazoo World Cup of Darts is the PDC team world championship with a very special format.
Because in this event the players don’t play individually but in pairs to represent their home country. So it is not “Wright against van Gerwen” but “Scotland against the Netherlands”. A special treat are the pairs matches in which four players are on stage and which is unique in the tour calendar. 32 nations will fight for the title and a total of 350.000£ price money, among them the reigning champions Peter Wright and John Henderson for Scotland, Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton for Wales, Michael van Gerwen for the Netherlands and Team Germany with the German No. 1 Gabriel Clemens.
