PDC Super Series 5 to be staged in Coventry

June 7, 2021 ,

PDC Super Series 5 will now be staged at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena from July 5-8, and will be followed the year’s opening European Tour Qualifiers.

Four Players Championship events will be staged in Super Series 5 as the final qualifying tournaments ahead of the cut-off for the Betfred World Matchplay.

The events had originally been planned to be staged at the University of Bolton Stadium, however following the recent rise in Covid-19 cases in the Bolton area, the PDC have moved Super Series 5 to Coventry with new dates of July 5-8.

Each event will feature a £75,000 prize fund, including £10,000 to the winner, and will be streamed live through PDCTV with coverage from two boards simultaneously.

Friday July 9 is now reserved for up to three European Tour Qualifiers for PDC Tour Card Holders, with further information to be confirmed in due course.

The PDC ProTour will return to action from June 14-17 with PDC Super Series 4 in Milton Keynes – watch each event in PDCTV.
