What a year! The European Tour and PDC Europe Darts Galas provided unforgettable moments both on and off stage. Let's take a look back together:
Pure emotions: Nathan Aspinall wins his first European Tour title! With a victory in the final against Ryan Joyce, he achieves a milestone in his career.
Record crowd in Riesa: 5,000 fans at the Saturday evening session set a new attendance record for a German European Tour event.
Stephen Bunting also has reason to celebrate! After more than ten years on the tour, ‘The Bullet’ wins his first European Tour title in Riesa.
Michael van Gerwen causes a sensation in Munich! At the German Darts Grand Prix, ‘Mighty Mike’ thrills the crowd with a 9-darter and wins his 38th European Tour event.
In Munich, the darts stars around Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen are dressed – in traditional Bavarian costume from Angermaier, of course.
Martin Schindler crowns himself ‘DACH Champion’! His tournament victory in Graz makes him the first player to win European Tour events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Dominance in the Glaspalast! Gary Anderson defends his title in Sindelfingen and excels in the final with an 8-0 victory over Andrew Gilding.
In Rosmalen, on the other hand, the local heroes dominate. Fourteen Dutch players entered the Dutch Darts Championship tournament – more than at any previous European Tour event...
...Niko Springer also reaches the final here for the first time. However, the ‘Meenzer Bub’ is defeated by Jonny Clayton.
At 89 years of age on the big darts stage: before the final session, this Dutch superfan is celebrated on stage with her son and grandson.
Chris Dobey's entrance song, ‘Hey Jude’ by The Beatles, inspires not only the audience but also himself. ‘Hollywood’ plays a breathtaking average of 110.84 in the round of 16.
Romantic highlight off stage: darts fan Christian proposed to his girlfriend Nadine in Leverkusen – and she promptly said ‘yes’!
Poker for a good cause: in the summer, the 2025 Poker Charity Tournament combined celebrities, poker and social engagement in a unique way. Various darts professionals were also in attendance, including Max Hopp, who also offered a darts masterclass.
Littler wins again in Belgium! In Antwerp, ‘The Nuke’ wins his second Belgian European Tour title of the season. Since his Euro debut in 2024, he has won three of the four tournaments in Belgium.
First title on the European Tour! Niko Springer puts in an incredible run in Budapest and rewards himself with his first PDC title in a dramatic final against Danny Noppert.
At the MVM Dome in Budapest, around 10,000 fans also set a new attendance record on the European Tour in a single day.
Martin Schindler plays his way into the top 16! At the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel, ‘The Wall’ climbs to 16th place in the world rankings as the first German to reach the round of 16.
Darts at the summit of Europe! As part of ‘Darts Top of Europe’, Luke Humphries and Jonny Clayton played a darts match at an altitude of 3,454 metres. They were accompanied by entertainer Michelle Hunziker and wrestler Sven Hofer.
9-darter to end the season: At the last European Tour event in Hildesheim, Dirk van Duijvenbode conjured up a 9-darter on the board. In the semi-finals, he confirmed his form with an average of 117.74, the third-best average in tour history.
Darts pros make children's eyes light up! On St. Nicholas Day, some PDC stars visited the children's hospital in Cologne together with the male choir ‘Laut aber Schief’ (Loud but Out of Tune), giving the youngest darts fans a little surprise.
There was also plenty of excitement at the subsequent Darts Gala in Cologne's LANXESS Arena. 12,000 fans welcomed six world champions and created an outstanding atmosphere and unique moments.
