PDC Europe is becoming increasingly European
Darts fans all across Europe can look forward to another year in 2027 packed with top-class events, big names and an electrifying atmosphere. With the new tour calendar, PDC Europe is consistently continuing on its path towards internationalisation: for the first time in the history of the PDC European Tour, the tour will visit ten different countries and a total of 15 cities.
Liévin and Ghent added to the tour calendar
With Ghent in Belgium and Liévin in France, two new venues will be added in 2027. This marks the first time that France has hosted a PDC event.
The new venues are a testament to the growth of the European Tour, which has developed in recent years into the most important tournament series on the international darts calendar. More and more fans are being given the chance to see the sport’s biggest stars right on their doorstep.
“The European Tour has grown steadily in recent years – in terms of the standard of play, spectator numbers and also geographically. The fact that we will be touring ten countries and 15 cities for the first time in 2027 is an important milestone for PDC Europe,” says Werner von Moltke, President of PDC Europe. “With Ghent and Liévin, we are welcoming two new venues to the European Tour and look forward to writing some new chapters in darts history there together with the fans.”
Ten countries, 15 cities, one tour schedule
The tour kicks off in Kiel, a long-standing venue, before heading to Kraków for the second time and then on to Riesa.
Before the traditional Easter weekend in Munich, Liévin will host the historic French debut. After that, the programme features two established venues – Göttingen and Sindelfingen – before the European Tour makes its first appearance at the large Stadthalle in Graz.
The tour continues via Prague to Leverkusen – where the 10th European Tour event of the year will take place under a new but familiar name: the German Darts Open. The tour then returns to Bratislava for the second time, before the next debut awaits in Ghent, Belgium. The tour concludes in Basel, Budapest and Maastricht.
In 2027, the European Tour will once again connect Europe’s key darts markets, creating a unique blend of top-class sport, entertainment and fan experience. From established iconic venues to the two new locations in Belgium and France, the tour spans a total of ten countries.
“The PDC European Tour is the greatest tour in professional sport,” says Dan Dawson, PDC pundit.
Next year, the tournament series will once again provide the stars of the sport with a grand stage and give young players the chance to compete against the world’s elite. Time and again, this gives rise to special moments: favourites face ambitious challengers, new faces spring surprises, and the world’s best players battle it out for titles and prize money – all in an unrivalled atmosphere.
Tickets and further information on the individual events will be announced from the end of October.
